The interest group Handgun Control, Inc., lobbies to place stricter controls on the manufacture, sale, and possession of handguns. The organization maintains the most recent information on many aspects of the gun control issue. It also publishes a variety of materials concerning this issue, including the book Guns Don’t Die—People Do and two quarterly newsletters. The organization produced the film The American Handgun War.
